Sumenep, February 26, 2025 - Wiraraja University held a workshop titled "Accreditation Strategies for Study Programs & Higher Education Institutions" at Graha Sumekar Unija. The event was attended by university leaders from various institutions in Madura and its surroundings, the Chairman of the Arya Wiraraja Foundation, lecturers, and academic staff from Wiraraja University.
This workshop featured the keynote speaker, Prof. Ari Purbayanto, Ph.D., as the Director of the Executive Board of BAN-PT, along with his team. In his presentation, Prof. Ari emphasized the importance of a deep understanding of the latest accreditation criteria and strategies that can be implemented to achieve superior accreditation.
The Rector of Wiraraja University Madura, in his speech, stated that this event is a form of Unija's commitment to supporting the improvement of higher education quality in Indonesia, especially in the Madura region. "We hope that through this workshop, participants can gain applicable knowledge and strategies in the accreditation process, both at the study program and institutional levels," he said.

The Rector of Madura University Pamekasan, the Rector of Islamic University of Madura Pamekasan, the Rector of Al-Amien University Prenduan Sumenep, the Rector of Annuqayah University Sumenep, and the Chairman of the PGRI College of Teacher Training and Education Sumenep.
The event was conducted interactively, featuring active discussions between participants and speakers. Participants also had the opportunity to share experiences regarding the challenges faced in the accreditation process at their respective institutions.
With the theme "Be Global Entrepreneurs with National Character," this workshop is expected to encourage higher education institutions not only to compete at the national level but also to excel globally while upholding national character values.
