The Business Incubator of Wiraraja University is a development center for Wiraraja University students to grow their businesses. Students who have an interest in entrepreneurship have the opportunity to learn and realize their dreams of becoming entrepreneurs in the business incubator. The learning process covers both theory and practice, and students who successfully establish their own businesses outside the campus will still receive guidance from the Wiraraja University Business Incubator until their businesses can compete in the market and achieve success.
On Wednesday, February 12, 2025, the Wiraraja University Business Incubator held a training program, one of which was the "Getuk Magic" business, in collaboration with a fostered village. The fostered village, Babbalan, has an active youth organization (Karang Taruna) in entrepreneurship. This fostered village, specifically its youth organization, is mentored by Mohammad Firlie Pranata, a Digital Business lecturer at Wiraraja University. "Today, we are conducting a training session on making Getuk Magic, but with a slight innovation by adding ginseng leaves," explained Firlie. He hopes that this innovation will help expand the market and, most importantly, provide students with both theoretical and practical learning experiences.
The training was attended by students from the Digital Business and Health programs. "We are starting with a small group of students first so that a core team can be formed. Since this is a new training, this team will later be able to educate and become trainers for future sessions," emphasized Firlie. The students appeared enthusiastic and actively participated in the getuk-making training.
"Alhamdulillah, the getuk tastes great!" said Alika, a Digital Business student. She also mentioned that, according to Mr. Firlie, the Business Incubator would hold an exhibition at one of the schools in Sumenep Regency. The exhibition will showcase not only Getuk Magic but also other products such as DTF T-shirts, abstract batik T-shirts, and abstract Muslim clothing.
