"255 Graduates Ready to Contribute to Society"
Inauguration and Professional Oath of FIK UNIJA 2024.
Sumenep � The Faculty of Health Sciences (FIK) at Universitas Wiraraja (UNIJA) held the Inauguration and Professional Oath Ceremony for Nurses, Midwives, and Diploma III Midwifery graduates at the Korpri Building in Sumenep on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. The ceremony inaugurated 105 nurses, 143 midwives, and 7 Diploma III Midwifery graduates who are ready to contribute to the healthcare world.
In his speech, the Dean of FIK UNIJA, Dr. Syaifurrahman Hidayat, S. Kep., Ns., M.Kep., emphasized the university's commitment to improving the quality of education through various innovations. One of the leading programs mentioned was the Wiraraja Health Care (WHC) Center, a healthcare service that represents UNIJA's dedication to the community.
He also highlighted the Event of Health Science and Competition (Evost) as a platform for developing the competencies and talents of FIK UNIJA students.
The Rector of UNIJA, Dr. Sjaifurrachman, S.H., C.N., M.H., expressed his appreciation to the graduates who had been inaugurated. He is confident that many of them have already begun applying the knowledge they gained in the workplace.
�FIK UNIJA graduates have contributed greatly to society. I hope that the newly inaugurated nurses and midwives will always apply their healthcare knowledge as a form of service to the community,� said the Rector.
He also reminded the graduates to uphold the reputation of their alma mater and to honor the ethics and morals of their profession. �As healthcare workers, the principles of honesty, trustworthiness, creativity, innovation, discipline, and responsibility must be their main guide,� he added. The event was attended by several important figures, including:
- Acting Chairman of the Arya Wiraraja Foundation
- Vice Rectors I and II of UNIJA
- Chairman of the Indonesian Nursing College
- Chairman of the Indonesian Midwifery Association (IBI) East Java Province
- Chairman of the Indonesian National Nurse Association (PPNI) for Sumenep, Pamekasan, and Sampang
- Head of the Health Department from Sumenep, Pamekasan, and Sampang
- Directors of RSUD dr. Moh. Anwar, RSI Garam Kalianget, and RSUD Smart Pamekasan
Also present were the Head of BPBD Sumenep, Heads of Puskesmas across Sumenep and Pamekasan, as well as the Chairpersons of the Indonesian Midwifery Association (PC IBI) from Sumenep and Pamekasan. This event reflects FIK UNIJA's commitment to producing professional healthcare workers who are ready to face the challenges in the field. With the support of various parties, UNIJA hopes that the inaugurated graduates will continue to make a positive impact on society and become excellent representatives of their alma mater.
