The dramatization of short stories by the PGSD program at Wiraraja University 2022 was successfully held.
Sumenep, December 30, 2024 � The Elementary School Teacher Education Study Program (PGSD) of Wiraraja University, Class of 2022, held an event titled "Dramatization of Short Stories" at the Graha Sumekar of Wiraraja University. The event, which started at 08:00 AM WIB, featured four captivating adaptations of short stories: "Saksi Mata" (Eyewitness), "Bendera" (Flag), "Laila," and "Dunia Ibu" (Mother's World).
This event was initiated as a form of student creativity in bringing literary works to life through the art of drama. Under the guidance of Course Lecturer Kadar Isman, S.Pd., M.Pd., the students successfully visualized stories rich in moral messages and life values.
Tickets for the event were sold at an affordable price of Rp 7,000, making it accessible to all, especially students. The enthusiasm was evident from the number of spectators filling the Graha Sumekar. This event not only served as entertainment but also as a means of appreciating literature and the performing arts.
With the success of this event, it is hoped that the PGSD program at Wiraraja University can continue to develop its students' creativity through similar activities in the future. "We want students to learn not only from books but also through art that can touch the heart," said Kadar Isman, S.Pd., M.Pd.
